WINE & CHEESE WEEKENDS: APRIL 30th - MAY 23rd 2010

Join us any one of these four weekends and enjoy a private cheese tasting at The Mooring! This special event will be hosted by Steve White, owner of Seaside Cheese, Cape May’s own artisan cheese shop. A selection of cheeses from three different countries, with appropriate wine pairings and suitable “accompaniments”, will be offered on one evening of your stay. Steve will also present an informative (and sometimes amusing!) commentary about each cheese and country … satisfying your curiosity as well as your appetite!

This very special evening is included in your room rate …. there is no extra charge! This represents a minimum added value of $75/couple (and trust us – you won’t need dinner that night, either). When booking, you can also nominate your favorite “country of origin” – the three countries with the most votes will be the ones selected for each weekend’s tasting.

CAPE MAY MUSIC FESTIVAL PACKAGE: MAY 20th – JUNE 10th 2010

Stay the night of any performance, and receive two complimentary tickets to the concert (up to $50 value). Subject to ticket availability at the time of your booking, so don’t wait until the last minute!

PICNIC BENEATH THE VINES PACKAGE: JUNE – SEPTEMBER 2010

Spend a lazy afternoon in the vineyard at the Cape May Winery … we’ll provide a picnic basket for two, a complimentary bottle of wine (Victorian Red, White or Blush), two souvenir wineglasses, and the picnic blanket! The winery is an easy 5-10 minute drive from the inn and there’s plenty of free parking once you’re there.

This picnic package is available June through September (when the winery is open every day of the week). Add $50.00 to the total cost of your reservation, and just let us know which day you’d like your picnic!
